Aquilina was a distant cousin of Martin Mazzucchi, her son-inlaw, the husband of Angelina. She and Angelina arrived in New York aboard the ship La Savoie on November 8, 1909. Then they proceeded to Fallon, CA (Marin County) where her husband, David Albini, was located.

Davide Albini arrived in New York aboard the ship La Gascogne on March 22, 1905. He was enroute to Markham (Sonoma County), California where his brother, Abramo, was located. Shortly after 1920, Davide and his family returned to Dongo, Italy, very near Garzeno. Angelina was already married to Martin Mazzucchi, so she remained in the USA.
