Paolo and his brother, Patrizio, emigrated to Hollind in about 1880. They both married Dutch women and remained in Holland. Paolo was a chimney sweeper and bricklayer in Schiedam, near Rotterdam. Paolo died from Spanish influenza at the age of 57. Paolo and Hermina had 9 children, but 3 died at a very young age.
