Giuseppe Secondo Nichelini emigrated to California in 1881, and his name is shown in an 1853 edition of the Alta California newspaper. He was the proprietor of the Napa City Bakery and Steam Macaroni Factory. It was located on Brown near Second Street, in Napa.
