Dott. Giacomo Vanoni in a letter dated 1860 : “... Barca Giuseppe fu Giacomo degente a Parigi 1856... e far restituire da Giacomo Isidoro e Marteggia Giovanni???”
Used name : Giuseppe (Bellinzona Archives).
* Should read Evry (near Paris) in France. Once a residential village, now a big new satellite town, 30 minutes ride by train from the French capital where a famous Tessin architect, Mario Botta, has been commissioned to build a cathedral (www.site.fr). The last mayor of the city is - strange coincidence - Manuel Vals, newly elected French Minister of Interior (2012), half ticinese, his mother being the sister of another famous Tessin architect, Aurelio Galfetti.
He died in Evry, France where he should have been burried. No trace so far.
** This one could be Jacques Barca married to Pauline Demogue (18..) whose testament was written in 1874. (No since his used name is Giuseppe!)
