Notes for Dante Alfonso Domenico PAOLINI
At the age of 18, Danta went to Santa Rosa, California where he lived for about 3 years before returning to Italy. He had several Rossi cousins in Santa Rosa, and it is assumed that he was in contact with them during his time in Santa Rosa.
Dante was killed by a bomb during World War I while helping a boy cross a bridge over the Piave River north of Venice, Italy. He is buried in Bassano del Grappa, Italy, northeast of Venice.
