The trophy bighorn ram in this self-made photo was killed on August 16, 1966 in the Wrangell mountains of Alaska. On August 19, Tony Granata packed 75 pounds of meat and horns, along with an exposed roll of color film, 18 miles to the town of McCarthy. The last entry in his diary was made on August 20.
